- Working closely with a Solution Architect, you will take business requirements and develop custom technical solutions with the opportunity to work on a range of platforms, including: Salesforce, web applications, data integrations, and mobile
- Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions that best leverage the Salesforce Platform, Clouds, third-party products and data integration tools
- Lead and complete custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation
- Lead technical design sessions, author technical solution documentation aligned with business objectives, and develop custom solutions and interfaces on top of the Salesforce Platform
- Lead integration discussions and design workshops, create current and future state architecture diagrams that you can relate to both technical and business-minded stakeholders which shows how Salesforce integrates with ERP and other systems, and develop the integrations
- Lead data migration workshops, develop plans for analysis, extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading and ongoing governance, and complete the migrations
- Provide estimates of the level of effort to develop custom applications, migrate data and/or build integrations based on business requirements
- Adhere to modern software development lifecycle best practices including iterative and incremental development, delivering working software frequently with attention to technical excellence
- Develop and execute test plans and ensure a quality solution is delivered
- Where appropriate, assign tasks to Associate Salesforce Developers and ensure quality delivery outcomes
- Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure high code quality standards and design patterns are utilized
- Understand and incorporate new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce during new product releases and acquisitions
- Contribute to knowledge growth of the Salesforce Practice through documenting and sharing best practices
- Mentor Associate Salesforce Developers in industry best practices and aid in achievement of Salesforce Certifications
- 5+ years of development experience using flows, lightning components, apex, visualforce, workflows, triggers, integrations, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce Platform
- 1+ years of development experience on Salesforce CPQ projects
- Experienced with advanced apex programming concepts including core design patterns, limits and bulk patterns, efficient and reliable trigger handling, Flow Invocable Actions (invocable apex), asynchronous operations and effective unit testing
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, database design and software development lifecycle
- Experienced working with Salesforce APIs [Tooling API, Metadata API, Canvas, Rest/SOAP API, Bulk API, etc.]
- Working knowledge of multi-dimensional quoting (MDQ)
- Strong client-facing written, presentation and verbal communications skills
- Prior experience soliciting, gathering and analyzing user input and requirements
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Mobile
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities and the ability to recommend best practices and identify areas where custom development is required
- Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders and translate functional requirements into technical specifications
- Expert ability to perform automated testing and write unit tests
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery concepts & fundamentals
- Experience in the High Tech or Manufacturing industries highly desired
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire within first several months
- Required Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform App Builder, MuleSoft Certified Developer
- Preferred Salesforce certifications: JavaScript Developer I, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or related technical field
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ Pricing (Price rules, Summary Variable, Block pricing)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ Plugins (JSQCP)
